2. Football Betting Rules

2.1 All football markets will be settled based on official results provided by OPTA

2.2 Constructed bets placed on football apply to 90 minutes plus extra time unless it is explicitly stated that the bet applies to extra time and penalties. For all bets containing such words, the remaining selections in the bet will be determined according to the result of the game (90 minutes plus extra time) unless otherwise stated. Match officials determine whether the full 90 minutes and extra time are to be played or have been played, all bets are live unless the match is deemed abandoned.

2.3 If a player in the bet does not take part in the game, the entire bet will be void, regardless of the rest of the selections within the bet. This rule applies to any player-related market involving goals and cards. Please see the Football Bet Type Settlement Rules section for period-related player selections.

2.4 For any obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel any bets placed at the wrong price.

2.5 If a match is abandoned, any selections where the outcome has already been decided, for example the half-time result or the first team to score will stand. All other selections will be void, regardless of the score line at the time of abandonment. Abandoned matches will be considered as matches that do not reach a natural conclusion by midnight local time. Matches in which the referee removes players from the field for a temporary period but resumes the remaining minutes of play by midnight local time will not be considered abandoned.

2.6 All markets will be settled according to the result of the match on the day it is played and completed. Any results that are changed retrospectively, e.g. doubtful objectives panel revisions, results reversed for ineligible players, will not alter the market settlement.

2.7 If an event is postponed before the start and subsequently rescheduled to be played less than 48 hours from the original start, all bets will remain live and will be settled according to the result of the rescheduled event. If an event is postponed before the start and subsequently rescheduled to be played more than 48 hours after the original start, all bets will be void.

2.8 Any event where the start date/time has been changed well in advance (e.g. to accommodate live TV or to alleviate set congestion) will not be classed as postponed.

2.9 For games played at a neutral venue, all bets will still count regardless of the order in which the teams are listed and whether we indicate that it will be played at a neutral venue.

Goals themselves don't count

Missed Penalty - Whether a penalty will be missed. This is any penalty taken that does not result in a direct goal from that shot. If a penalty is ordered to be repeated, the original penalty will not count towards any official settlement. Only one completed penalty result is applicable. If a penalty kick rebounds off the woodwork or off the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, it will be considered an error.

Penalty awarded - Whether a penalty will be awarded. It is any penalty taken that results in a direct goal from that kick. If a penalty kick rebounds off the woodwork or off the goalkeeper and is touched again before a goal is awarded, it will be considered an error. Penalties awarded but rescinded and subsequently not enforced will not be considered a winning selection.

More than 2 penalties awarded - Two or more penalties will be given (and subsequently lost/marked). Penalties granted but rescinded and subsequently not applied will not be considered as an imposed penalty

Go to extra time - Whether the match will go to extra time after 90 minutes, in applicable matches where extra time can be played.

A player being sent off is settled with any active player who receives a red card, whether a direct red card or automatically resulting from 2 yellow cards.

Team Blank Sheet - Whether your nominated team will maintain a blank sheet. For example, 0-0, 1-0 for your team, 2-0 for your team, etc. would be winning selections.

First Team to Score - Which team will score the first goal. Revoked and/or disallowed goals do not count, only official goals count. If no goals are scored in the match, this market will be considered a loser.

Last team to score - Which team will score the last goal. Revoked and/or disallowed goals do not count, only official goals count. If no goals are scored in the match, this market will be considered a loser.

First Corner - Which team will be awarded and subsequently take the first corner. If no corners are awarded in the specified period, this would be a losing selection.

Last corner - Which team will be awarded and subsequently score the last corner of the match. If no corners are awarded in the specified period, this would be a losing selection.

Most Corners - Which team will take the most corners in the game. If the match's corner count is level at full time, the selection will be a forfeit. Your nominated team needs to get more than their opponents for this to be a winning selection.

First card - Which team will receive the first card, yellow or red, in the match. If no cards are awarded within the specified period, this would be a losing selection.

Last card - Which team will receive the last card, yellow or red, in the match. If no cards are awarded within the specified period, this would be a losing selection.

Yellow card = 10 and red card = 25. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is then shown a red card, he will receive a total of 35 reserve points.

Most cards - Which team will receive the most cards in the match. If no cards are shown in the match, you will be a loser. Your nominated team must receive more cards than the opponent for this to be a winning selection.

Yellow card = 1 card and red card = 2 cards. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and is subsequently shown a red card, they will receive a total of 3 cards. The maximum number of cards a player can receive is 3. A straight red card is equivalent to 2 cards.

3.15 Which player will score first/last? - You are betting on: which player will score the first/last goal.

Bets will be settled according to which player scores the first/last goal for their own team during the match.

The goals themselves do not count. For example, if you bet on a player to score the first goal of the match and the first goal was an own goal, then the bet will be settled on the next goal scored. If your player scores the second goal, you have a winning bet. If a different player scores next, your bet will be a loser.

In relation to 'Which player will score first', if your player has not taken part in the match at the point the first goal was scored, selections will be void.

Regarding 'Which player will score last', if your player participated in the match before or during the time the last goal was scored, the related selections will be retained.

If no goals are scored in the match, or only own goals are scored in the match, any selection of a player to score first or last will result in losing selections if he has participated in the relevant time period as indicated in the two points above.

3.16 How many player goals? - You are betting on: whether the named player will score 1+/2+ or 3+ goals in the match (own goals are excluded).

3.17 How will a player score? - You are betting on: the method of how a named player will score, with the following options available (own goals are excluded):

Head - the nominated player scores a goal, which is classified as coming from the head or shoulder, whether intentional or not.

Free kick - the named player scores a direct free kick for their own team.

Outside the box - the named player scores from outside the 18 meter penalty box for his own team.

Penalty - the named player scores a penalty for his own team. The goal must be scored directly from this penalty. A rebound from a penalty will not be classified as a goal scored by a penalty.

3.18 Who will be carded or expelled? - You are betting on (for the carded element): whether a named player will receive a yellow or red card.

You are betting on (for the sending off element): whether a named player will receive a red card during the course of the match. Only cards awarded when the player is active in the match will count. Any cards shown after the final whistle do not count. A player being sent off is settled with any active player who receives a red card, either a straight red card or 2 yellow cards which automatically result in a red card.

Cards shown before the start of the game, during the half-time interval or after full-time do not count.

Cards shown to players or officials who are not active players on the field do not count.

First carded player - Which player will receive the first card, yellow or red, in the match. If no cards are awarded within the specified period, those selections will be forfeited.

First team player to receive card - Which player will receive the first card, yellow or red, for their team in the match only. If no cards are awarded within the specified period, these selections will be forfeited.

3.19 How many cards? - You are betting on whether the total number of cards is above, below or exactly the declared total. Extra time does not count towards the total, nor do points scored received before kick-off and/or after the final whistle. Only cards shown to players currently on the field count. Cards shown to coaches or substitutes do not count towards the total.

Yellow card = 1 and red card = 2. If a player receives 2 yellow cards and consequently sees a red card, the player receives a total of 3 cards. No player may receive more than 3 cards for settlement purposes. For example, a player who receives a yellow card and then a straight red card receives 3 cards for settlement purposes. A player who receives two yellow cards and consequently a red card receives 3 cards also for settlement purposes. A straight red counts as 2 cards for settlement purposes.

3.20 What is double chance? - You are betting on the game (or specified period) ending in one of the two results displayed. For example, Team A/Draw would require the match (or specified period) to end in a victory for Team A, or a draw to be a winning selection.

3.21 Who will be ahead at half-time/full-time? - You are betting on the result of the match at half time and at the end of the game, both need to be correct to be a winning selection.

3.22 How many team cards? - You are betting on the number of cards for the indicated team during the match. Only cards shown to players on the field during active periods of the match count, cards shown to coaches or substitutes do not count.

Only a yellow card will count towards a second bookable offence. Two yellow cards that consequently lead to a red card count as three cards in total. The same applies to a yellow card followed by a straight red card. The maximum number of cards a player can be issued with is three.

Cards presented before kick-off, during the half-time interval or after full-time do not count. Cards shown to players or officials who are not active players on the field do not count.

3.23 How will a team win? - You are betting on different markets related to how a team will win, including:

Margin of victory - by what margin the nominated team will win.

Win to nil - If the nominated team wins to nil. For example, if your nominated team wins 1-0, 2-0 etc., this would result in a winning selection.

Win from behind - If the nominated team wins the match (or specified period) from behind

Win in extra time - If your nominated team wins the tie in extra time. To be a winning selection, your team must win the extra time period (2 x 15 minutes plus stoppage time unless otherwise stated). If the match does not go into extra time. this will be a losing selection. If a game is postponed, normal postponed game rules apply. If a game is abandoned, normal abandoned match rules apply.

Win on penalties - If your nominated team wins the draw after the penalties. Bets are only settled on games that go to penalties. If the match doesn't go to penalties, this will be a losing team. If a game is postponed, normal postponed game rules apply. If a game is abandoned, normal abandoned match rules apply.

Qualify - If your nominated team qualifies for the next round of the next round of games in the specified tournament/cup/league. If a game is postponed, normal postponed game rules apply. If a game is abandoned, normal abandoned match rules apply. In case of withdrawal or dismissal of one of the teams, see the postponement rules (2.7). [i] Match refers to 90 minutes plus extra time unless it is explicitly stated that the bet applies to extra time and/or penalties. The match referees determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time have been played. [i] Active (in the context of a match) refers to periods of play within the match. Before the official start of the match, after the half-time whistle until the official start of the second half, and after the final whistle do not count as active periods. Active in reference to a player refers to a player on the field during the relevant periods of play within the match.

4. Football Betting Period Rules

4.1 All periods below (4.2-4.7) are periods that can be obtained from the markets (3.1-3.23). For example, a bet containing: 90 minute period (4.2) with Who will win? (3.1), you are betting on the outcome throughout the entire match (90 minutes plus injury time).

4.2 90 minutes - Refers to the entire match. All bets involving 90 min selections apply to 90 minutes plus injury time (extra). The match referees determine whether the full 90 minutes and injury time are to be played or have been played. Any event occurring before the official start of the match, during the half-time interval (any time after the half-time whistle and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle does not count.

4.3 First 10 minutes - Refers to the first 10 minutes of the match (00:00 and 09:59). For example, a corner awarded in this period but not taken before 10:00 will not count. Any event occurring at 10:00 or later during the match will not count. Any event that occurs before the official start of the match does not count.

4.4 1st half - Refers only to the first half of the match, including any extra minutes played within it. Any event that occurs before the official start of the match or during the half-time break (any time after the half-time whistle) will not count.

4.5 2nd half - Refers only to the second half of the game, including any extra minutes played within it. Any event occurring before the second half (first half or during half-time) or after the final whistle will not count.

4.6 Each half - Refers to an event that happens in both halves of the match. If the chosen event does not take place in any of the halves or in only one of the halves, it will be considered a lost selection. Any event occurring before the official start of the match or during the half-time break (any time after the half-time whistle and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle will not count.

For any bets relating to the ‘each half’ player, if the player wishes to participate in any part of the first half, this selection will stand. If they do not participate in the first half, this selection will be void.

4.7 Either half - Refers to an event happening in one or both halves of the match. If the chosen event does not happen during the match, it will be considered a lost selection. Any event that occurs before the official start of the match, during the half-time break (any time after the half-time whistle and before the start of the second half) or after the final whistle will not count.

For any player related bet in relation to "either half", if the player participates at any point in the match this selection will stand. For example, for a player to score one of the two halves, if he scores in the first half but does not play in the second half, this will be a winning selection. If they do not wish to participate in the match, this selection will be void.

5. Basketball betting rules

5.1 Selection and Betting Results

All basketball selections must win (no draws, draws or draws) for a bet to be considered a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified in this document, will be considered lost.

For example, selections of a team to win a match in which there is a draw after extra time (or normal time if no extra time is played), even when the draw or draw may not have been offered through bet construction, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to NBA or NBL games, as they play repeated periods of overtime until one team wins, but may be applicable to other basketball leagues or competitions according to their individual competition rules. Likewise, ‘Race to X’ selections in which no team achieves the selected score will be considered losers, regardless of whether a ‘no team to achieve X’ selection is available as an alternative selection or not

5.2 Extra time

All basketball matches will be determined according to the official declared result, including any overtime.

5.3 Second quarter/fourth quarter markets

All second half and fourth quarter market selections include overtime periods if they occur. For example, a second half points total selection would include points scored in both the second half and any overtime periods played.

5.4 Player Specific Markets

All player selections will be considered active if a player enters the field as an active player at any point in the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question relates to a specific period of the match. If a player never takes the field during a match, selections specific to that player will be cancelled. For example, the selection of a certain player to score more than 10.5 points in the second half would be active (and therefore considered a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, became injured and did not return to the game, regardless of whether he was ever on the field in the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the start of the game, was removed from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took to the field, the selection and therefore the bet would be void.

5.5 Postponed and Incomplete Matches

Where a game is postponed or incomplete and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played that begin more than 24 hours after the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets will be canceled and bets will be refunded.

5.6 Abandoned Games

If a game is abandoned before kickoff, it will fall under the 48-hour rule for postponed matches as outlined above. If it is abandoned after the start but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

Build Bets will be void if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules described below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

If all selections within a Build Bet in the game are already a winner, where the fact of abandonment has not impacted the outcome of each selection, the Bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-step Build A Bet containing a selection of points over total and a certain player to score 10.5+ points, in a game where the required points were achieved and the player scored more than 10 points before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either team. The same does not apply to an under-total points selection, where a game is abandoned while the total score is still below the chosen number, as abandonment would affect that result.

If a single Build A Bet selection is lost and a match is abandoned, the bet will be treated as a loser, where, regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question have been irrevocably completed. For example, a Build A Bet including a first player to score, in a game where a different player scored first and the match was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost and this result could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.

If there are no losing selections in a Build A Bet and at least one void selection at the time of abandonment of a match, the bet will be considered void. This rule applies when one or more teams are still undecided upon abandonment and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a construction bet (Build A Bet) including a selection of points above the total, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be considered void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and you may have won or lost if not for the abandonment, so the bet will be void.

5.7 Location changes

If the location of a game is changed from that announced, all bets on that game will be void.

6. American Football Betting Rules

6.1 Selection and Betting Results

All American football Build A Bet selections must win (no ties) for a bet to be considered a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified in this document, will be considered lost.

For example, selections of a team to win a match in which there is a draw after extra time, even where the draw may not have been offered through the bet will be considered losers. Likewise, 'Race to X' selections in which no team achieves the selected score will be considered losers, regardless of whether a 'no team to achieve

6.2 Extra time

All American football games will be resolved according to the official declared result, including any overtime.

6.3 Second half/fourth quarter markets

All second half and fourth quarter market selections include overtime, if any. For example, a second half points total selection would include points scored in the second half and overtime.

6.4 Player Specific Markets

All player selections will be considered active if a player takes part in at least one play at any point in the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player does not participate in a single play during a match, selections specific to that player will be cancelled. For example, the selection of a certain player to score a touchdown in the second half would be active (and therefore considered a loser) if that player participated in the first play of the game, was injured and did not return to the game, despite never having been on the field in the second half. However, if that player is injured shortly before the start of the game and does not take part in any play, the selection and therefore the bet will be cancelled.

6.5 Postponed and Incomplete Matches

Where a game is postponed or incomplete and subsequently resumed or played within 48 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played that begin more than 48 hours after the originally scheduled start time will be void. Once the 48 hours have expired, all bets will be canceled and bets will be refunded.

6.6 Abandoned Games

If a game is abandoned before kickoff, it will fall under the 48-hour rule for postponed matches as outlined above. If it is abandoned after the start but before its natural end point, the following rules apply:

The Build A Bet will be void if it includes at least one selection involving a player who has not yet been on the field for at least one play. The rules described below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule.

If all selections within a Build A Bet in the game are already a winner, where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the Build A Bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-Step Bet construction containing a selection of points over total and a certain player to score a touchdown, in a game where the required points were achieved and the player scored a touchdown before the game was subsequently abandoned, would be treated as a winner.

For example, a Build A Bet including a first team to score a goal, in a game where the other team scored first and the match was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost and this result could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not.

If there are no losing selections in a bet construction and at least one void selection at the time of abandonment of a match, the bet will be considered void. This rule applies where one or more teams are still undecided upon abandonment and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a bet including a selection of points over total, on a game abandoned whilst the points total is still below the required amount, will be considered void. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and you may have won or lost if not for the abandonment, so the bet will be void.

6.7 Location changes

If the location of a game is changed from that announced, all bets on that game will be void
